What You'll Do:

• Provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced PACU setting
• Support patients undergoing all major surgical procedures, excluding critical care services
• Assist with pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery for patients of all ages
• Float to pediatric PACU when needed, caring for pediatric patients with high-volume demand
• Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a multi-surgeon environment across two floors and 34 ORs
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout recovery stages
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, including those for emergency team participation as required

What You Need:

• Active Louisiana RN license or licensure eligible for the state
• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in PACU or Pre/Post Op care is preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment
• Flexibility to float within the department and support various procedural populations
