Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners with your expertise as a Physical Therapist in an engaging school environment! This part-time, on-site contracted opportunity is available for the upcoming school year near High Point, NC, serving PreK-2nd grade students. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team of educators and related service professionals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current, active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (required)
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Previous experience in pediatric or K-12 school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable providing in-person therapy services only
• Proficiency with ECATS and Infinite Campus systems is a plus

Schedule & Details:

• Contract dates: August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027
• Part-time role, 3 hours per week
• Caseload includes approximately 3 students (PreK-2nd)
• On-site services required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Complete functional evaluations and collaborate in developing individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with teachers, special education teams, related services, and families
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Foster student mobility, independence, and access within the school environment
• Adjust therapy interventions based on ongoing assessment of student progress
• Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus for recording and reporting therapy services
