Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery RN Job Description: - Join a dynamic team in a vibrant Women’s Services unit! - Work in a modern facility with: - 9 LDRP beds - 1 OBED bed - 4 NICU beds - 1 OR suite - Enjoy a supportive environment with: - Daily rounding on patients - Safety rounding for enhanced patient experience - Shift Details: - Schedule: Full-Time (3 shifts per week) - Rotating weekends and holidays required - Patient Care Ratios: - 1:1 for active labors, inductions, and C-sections - Couple care: 1:3 - Newborns: 1:1 until stable - NICU: 1:3 for intermediate care - Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional care for mothers during labor and recovery - Assess and transition newborns, ensuring a smooth experience - Handle OB emergencies, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage - Perform routine procedures like C-sections, circumcisions, and forceps-assisted deliveries - Required Skills: - Labor and delivery experience - Fetal monitoring education - Experience with Pitocin and Cervidil inductions - Certifications: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring Training - Work in a fantastic team atmosphere! - Collaborate with 6 seasoned RNs with approximately 30 years of experience each - Learn from experienced staff who are great resources and preceptors - Team values and support: - Engage with a team that is willing to assist and enhance your learning - Gain comprehensive experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate care Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
