Inventory Accountant

Our client, a global leader in industrial packaging and container manufacturing, is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or finance professional with 2–6 years of experience who is looking to build a career in manufacturing finance and cost accounting. In this role, you'll work closely with plant operations and finance leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, identify process improvements, and support operational decision-making within a world-class manufacturing environment. Analyze manufacturing, labor, inventory, and production costs Investigate cost variances and assist with root cause analysis Prepare recurring and ad hoc cost analysis reports Support month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting Estimate product costs for both existing and new products Monitor changes in production processes and evaluate financial impact Assist with inventory analysis, standard costing, and cost forecasting Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities Participate in financial audits and support internal controls Perform additional financial analysis and special projects as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2–6 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, global manufacturing organization that offers exposure to plant operations, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term career growth in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
