Job Overview The Head of US Consumer Deposit Product Enablement, Re‑engineering and Delivery leads the strategy and delivery of new products and enhancements for Consumer Deposits. Responsibilities Executes the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and enterprise priorities. Uses data and customer insights to improve experience, drive adoption, and increase product performance. Partners across teams in an agile environment to prioritize, build, and launch features on time while managing risks, budgets, and dependencies. Acts as a key enabler across stakeholders and leads a high‑performing team to deliver scalable, customer‑focused solutions. Provides vision, leadership, and strategic guidance in developing and implementing company products, services, and programs, including features, benefits, and characteristics that meet customer needs and achieve company and shareholder objectives. Serves as an expert providing a foundation of knowledge to guide decisions throughout product definition and overall product management. Models company culture internally and externally, communicating openly. Acts as the expert on the market and its problems, gathering industry opinions and qualitative market data for different market segments. Builds and maintains close relationships with senior business partners. Manages the product development budget, determining optimal allocation to achieve objectives and maximum profitability. Ensures all products are in compliance and meet regulatory requirements. Travel required. Customer Accountabilities Understands and supports the bank’s customer service strategy. Considers the impact of advice and decisions on the well‑being of the bank, its customers, employees, and stakeholders. Provides the highest level of customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors, or customers—WOW at every opportunity. Leads, coaches, and models quality service delivery at every interaction. Supports ongoing improvement of partner/customer experience. Employee/Team Accountabilities Sets appropriate context for the business unit/function to enable optimal performance and alignment to strategy. Supports creation of goals and objectives for the business unit/function and communicates them to the team. Builds capability support and executes plans to acquire, develop and retain diverse teams with the necessary skills. Acts as a role model consistent with TD’s leadership profile, customer and employee experience agendas, and risk and control culture. Leads, coaches, and develops a highly effective team by ensuring ongoing training, performance and development management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 7‑10 years of related experience. Proven senior management leadership skills to lead a quality department of product development experts and consultants. Ability to develop and drive product strategies throughout the organization. Comprehensive knowledge of the design, development, implementation and profitability of product development and marketing in a financial/banking environment. Superb communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executive management. Proven ability to build strong collaborative business relationships. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and apply skills to exercise influence over others’ decisions without express authority and influence mass change management. Experience in leading project management and delivering on time and within budget. Proven experience in product pricing, financial statements and ensuring budget targets are met or exceeded.
