Role Description The Family Law Attorney is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. This attorney will manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution, including client counseling, case strategy, negotiation, and trial preparation. Daily responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, preparing and responding to discovery, conducting legal research, and appearing in court for hearings and trials. The role involves handling depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences, as well as collaborating with colleagues and support staff to provide efficient, client-centered representation. The attorney will maintain clear communication with clients, ensure timely case progression, and uphold firm standards for professionalism and ethics. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law and Family Law, with demonstrated experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related legal issues. Ability to address complex Legal Issues, including property division, parental responsibilities, and enforcement or modification of orders. Experience drafting and arguing Motions, including temporary orders, protective orders, and post-decree motions. Skill in managing Depositions, including questioning parties and witnesses, and using deposition testimony strategically in litigation. Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the state bar. Previous experience in family law litigation, including courtroom advocacy and mediation practice. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize workload, and work both independently and within a team environment.
