Business Development & Events Coordinator (Estate Planning)  

On-Site | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $50,000–$55,000/year | Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role You'll be the right hand to our Managing Attorney on the business side of her practice. She's growing the firm's estate planning work, and that means being in the rooms where the people who need it are: professional groups, community organizations, and local events. You'll find those opportunities, get her there prepared, and make sure every connection turns into a follow-up.

This isn't a front-desk or general admin job, and it isn't commission sales. It's for someone who's already planned events, worked a room, or built community partnerships, and wants to do that for a growing law practice. You don't need a legal background — we'll teach you what we do. You'll work with the Managing Attorney every day, with real room to grow as this side of the firm grows.

What You'll Do

• Research professional groups, associations, chambers, and community events where the Managing Attorney should have a presence
• Reach out to organizations and partners to open doors, set up introductions, and find speaking slots and sponsorships
• Register her for events, handle the logistics, and keep her calendar in sync
• Prepare her ahead of time with background on who'll be there, materials, and talking points
• Track every contact and commitment in our CRM, and follow up so nothing goes cold
• Coordinate with our marketing and intake teams so new connections are handled right
• Manage scheduling and correspondence for this side of her practice

What We're Looking For Required

• 2+ years in events, community outreach, marketing, or business development coordination
• You've planned or staffed events, or built partner and referral relationships, and can walk us through examples
• Comfortable reaching out to people you don't know, by phone, email, and in person
• Highly organized, with a system for tracking contacts and follow-ups
• Able to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Monday through Friday

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience supporting an executive, attorney, or business owner
• An existing South Florida network: chambers, professional associations, community groups
• CRM or Canva experience
• Law firm or professional services background — helpful, but not required

Compensation $50,000–$55,000 per year, depending on experience.
