Unit Secretary

Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Summary of Job Duties At Community LIFE, we call our Unit Secretary position "Medical Scheduler & Team Coordinator" (MSTC). The MSTC is responsible for providing the primary clerical support services relating to the Clinic and Health Information. The MSTC ensures that participants are seen by the medical consultants ordered by the provider in a timely manner to ensure care needs are identified, addressed, and followed up. Required Experience Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a health care environment. Formal Unit Secretary or Medical Assistant training preferred. Required Skills & Abilities Ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time Ability to recover from distraction Quick learner and adaptable to change Ability to plan and organize effectively Ability to interact effectively and professionally with participants, families, contracted provider offices and facility staff.
