Material HandlingLocation: Batavia, IL 60510Pay Rate: $19.75/hrJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our first shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials using forklifts and other equipment to support production and shipping operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload trucks, verify incoming and outgoing shipments.Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.Maintain accurate inventory records and complete necessary documentation.Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.Cutting boards down to size using specificationsCoating foam boards with mortar, a light/wet cementTrimming the boards to remove excess mortar from the sides to clean them up for saleLift 50 lbs. regularlyOther tasks assigned by supervisorJob Requirements/Required Skill SetMust be able to stand for an 8 + hour daySafety Equipment Glasses (provided)Steel Toe BootsAssociate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by call the Department’s Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email at View email address on click.appcast.io Staffing and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
