Ditmas Children’s Nursing & Rehab Respiratory Therapist Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab is looking for a kind and compassionate Respiratory therapist to join our amazing team. This is a great and unique opportunity to work with a dynamic interdisciplinary healthcare team to treat children of varying diagnoses in a pediatric nursing facility. The individual should have a positive attitude, good energy, and a passion to serve the pediatric population with healthcare needs in the Brooklyn and NYC areas. This is a Full Time/Per-Diem position. We are looking for weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed. Job Description Consult with medical provider to develop patient treatment plans. Treat patients using a variety of methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Monitor and record medical progress. Initiate, monitor, and wean patients from mechanical ventilation. Administer oxygen therapy. Be part of a team that focuses on residents' pulmonary and rehabilitative function. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Qualifications & Job Requirements A graduate of a nationally approved respiratory care program. New York State respiratory licensure. BLS required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
