Come and experience your future!THE WORKRole Overview: This dual position supports the Director of Sikorsky Quality as a Technical Assistant while driving enterprise-wide quality continuous improvement initiatives. The role reports to the Sikorsky Quality Continuous Improvement Manager.As a Technical Assistant to the Director of Sikorsky Quality:Develop and maintain the Quality Organization’s business rhythm: preparing agendas, distributing materials, taking minutes, and tracking follow-up actionsPrepare documents and presentations for SLR, MOR, MPR, RMS Executive CAB, and SAC Executive CAB: creating, formatting, and polishing executive briefs, reports, slide decks, dashboards, and official correspondenceTrack projects and initiatives including Six Sigma Belt and Annual Improvement Projects: monitoring milestones, deliverables, sending reminders, and maintaining status dashboardsManage Quality Communications for the organization: Items of Interest (IOIs), the Sikorsky Quality Homepage, Quality Newsletter, and organizational updatesAs a Quality Continuous Improvement Specialist:Serve as a key catalyst for change, partnering with Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to identify and implement impactful business improvementsManage, assist, and develop Quality Improvement Projects to reduce Scrap, Rework, and Repair: defining project scopes, measuring ROI, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and tracking key metricsApply Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis techniques to reduce waste, enhance processes, and align with key performance goalsFacilitate, lead, and support continuous improvement activities such as Structured Improvement Activities (SIA) and Performance Management Teams (PMT)Motivate and influence cross-functional teams to drive a culture of excellenceSupport communication and change management strategies to ensure project success and long-term sustainabilityWHO WE AREOur customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating original solutions with the latest technologies.
