Gold Medal Pools is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Sales & Account Manager to help lead our growth in Florida. This position combines sales, customer relationship management, and pool design. As a key representative of Gold Medal Pools in the Florida market, you will develop new business, meet with homeowners to understand their vision, and create custom pool and outdoor-living concepts using AutoCAD or similar design software. You will guide prospective customers through the entire sales and design process, from the initial consultation and concept development through revisions, proposal, signed contract, and project handoff. You will work closely with our construction and leadership teams to ensure each design reflects the customer’s goals while remaining aligned with the project budget, site conditions, and construction requirements. Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, property, budget, and project goals. Translate customer ideas into thoughtful pool and outdoor-living concepts. Create and revise pool layouts and preliminary designs using AutoCAD or similar design software. Review surveys, measurements, property information, and site conditions when developing designs. Present design concepts, material options, and proposals to prospective customers. Make design revisions based on customer feedback, budget considerations, and construction requirements. Balance creativity, functionality, cost, and constructability throughout the design process. Manage leads and opportunities from initial contact through design approval and signed contract. Conduct consistent follow-up and maintain clear communication throughout the sales process. Build referral relationships with builders, realtors, designers, community partners, and other potential lead sources. Partner with construction, permitting, and operations teams to ensure designs and project information are complete before handoff. Maintain accurate customer, design, lead, and sales activity within the company’s systems. Participate in site visits, networking events, community activities, and other business-development opportunities. Monitor customer feedback, market activity, and competitive trends and communicate opportunities to leadership. Maintain relationships with customers throughout their projects and help provide an exceptional overall experience. Sales and relationship-building experience, preferably within pools, residential construction, outdoor living, home improvement, or a related industry. Experience using AutoCAD or comparable design software. Ability to create, explain, and revise residential pool or outdoor-living design concepts. Ability to review surveys, site measurements, plans, and property information. Strong spatial awareness and an eye for design, layout, and presentation. Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales pipeline. Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trust and understand a homeowner’s vision. Ability to balance customer preferences with budget, site, and construction considerations. Strong organizational, follow-up, and project-management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with construction, permitting, operations, design, and leadership teams. Ability to travel locally for customer appointments, site visits, networking, and business-development activities. Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for helping build a new market. Pool, landscape, architectural, or outdoor-living design experience is strongly preferred.
