Construction Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through project completion. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage all on-site construction activities for commercial projects. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and schedule impacts in a timely manner. Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure successful completion of all required approvals. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors throughout the construction process. Monitor material deliveries, equipment utilization, and workforce productivity. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Mentor and support field staff while fostering a positive and productive jobsite culture. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role. Experience working for a General Contractor. Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications. Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices.
