. JOB SUMMARY: This position performs desktop and network support to local area network users and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with technology and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include: Analyzing and coordinating resolution of hardware, software, and network communication problems Assisting with planning and designing of office network layouts Evaluating the effectiveness of hardware, software, and communication performance Researching and recommending improvements and solutions Installing and maintaining an inventory of computers and electronic equipment Providing training and support to peers and other teams MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience communicating verbally and/or in writing, guiding end users through computer related inquiries. Two years of experience with supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office * Two years of work-related experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining, or troubleshooting computer hardware/software.* Two years of work-related experience troubleshooting and handling Microsoft Windows operating systems in an office environment.* SUBSTITUTIONS: Associate or higher degree in any Computer related field or a current A+ or network+ certification can substitute for the following minimum requirements on a year for year basis. SPECIAL NOTES: This position requires the ability to install and maintain computer equipment with the ability to bend, stoop and kneel in awkward positions and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations. Occasional travel may be required. This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached. SALARY:
