Registered Nurse - Cardiac Floor

This position requires 12-hour night shifts, working weekends as scheduled. Every other weekend commitment is necessary.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care on a specialized cardiac unit focusing on respiratory health. The unit offers a mix of cardiac care including post-operative lung surgeries, respiratory failure management, and care for patients with chest tubes and pacemakers. The RN will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team and utilize advanced monitoring equipment.

Provide direct patient care, assessments, and interventions in a cardiac unit.

Titrate medication drips as required and monitor patients closely.

Read and interpret cardiac strips using Philips monitoring systems.

Collaborate with Respiratory Therapists for managing CPAP and BiPap equipment.

Assist in the stabilization and recovery of patients post-surgery and after cardiac procedures.

Current RN license and BLS & ACLS certifications are required.

Experience in cardiac nursing preferable, with strong titration skills.

Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitoring.
