Horizontal Bandsaw Operator (Cutting steel bundles)

Job Description

Responsible for using large horizontal bandsaws to cut steel tubing, angle, and channel to specific lengths. Will be using overhead crane to move and load steel bundles.

Must be able to read a tape measure at an expert level and do simple math to cut efficiently with the least amount of scrap
Must have overhead crane experience - will be using crane constantly to move & load large bundles of steel
Required PPE: steel-toed boots (not provided) - safety glasses, gloves, earplugs provided by company
Performance-based raises and growth opportunities
6:00am - 2:30pm + lots of opportunity for overtime. Sometimes 10+ hours of OT weekly
