Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Elk Grove, CA

A retail pharmacy technician role is available to support a busy per diem team serving multiple sites in the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This position requires a reliable candidate who can quickly join and work 3-4 days per week or more, with shifts available during days, evenings, and weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate cash registers, manage inventory, and handle medication takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth pharmacy workflow

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

Location:

• Positions cover pharmacies throughout the greater Sacramento area, including possible assignments in Lodi and Stockton

Additional Details:

• Mileage reimbursement provided for candidates traveling more than 30 miles to assigned locations
