About the Position

Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - CVOR experience required - ECMO and Impella experience required - Ability to float as needed Description: The CVOR RN position requires an ASAP start date. RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in a cancelation. The shift schedule is 4x10 from 06:15 to 16:45. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend. Call is required two days a week. The patient ratio is 1:1. You can expect to visit 6 patients daily across 3 rooms. Contract staff may be assigned to work on Storm Team or Hurricane Team. They must be prepared to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. The role involves participation in various surgeries such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. Interdisciplinary support is available in the unit from various services. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as necessary. All candidates are required to complete pre-start modules conducted online. Submission and compliance requirements will be communicated appropriately. References may be pending at the time of submission.
