Lead the Utah Branch to Peak PerformanceImagine starting your day with a quick huddle alongside your managers and supervisors, aligning on the production run, warehouse priorities, and outbound distribution. You scan dashboards tracking productivity, labor utilization, inventory position, order fulfillment accuracy, service levels, costs, profitability, and capital needs. By mid-morning, you’re coordinating capacity planning and production scheduling, recalibrating staffing and equipment loading to hit today’s customer commitments—and tomorrow’s as well.As the Director of Branch Operations, you own the Utah branch’s operational and financial results. You turn divisional strategy into a clear operating plan—goals, budgets, metrics, and accountability rhythms—and then lead the team to deliver.What You’ll OwnTranslate company and divisional strategy into Utah branch operating plans, with measurable goals, budgets, KPIs, and review cadences.Deliver branch-level results across productivity, labor, inventory, order fulfillment, service levels, cost control, profitability, and capital requirements.Oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory control, staffing, materials, equipment, and workflow to meet business and customer commitments.Establish and review performance metrics so production and distribution consistently meet quality, cost, delivery, and service targets.Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, regulatory, and company standards—promoting a safe, inclusive, clean, and well‑organized workplace.Implement and sustain robust quality control systems; drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.Build capability across managers, supervisors, and frontline teams through hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and regular reviews.Partner with supply chain, sales, finance, HR, and other functions to align branch execution with enterprise needs and to seamlessly introduce new products and processes.Monitor financial performance; manage operating expenses and capital needs; execute cost-control measures to meet targets.Apply advanced analytical thinking to spot trends, eliminate constraints, resolve root causes, reduce downtime, and lift throughput, quality, service, and cost performance.Communicate plans, performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to the COO, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.Develop productive relationships with vendors, service providers, regulators, and internal partners; negotiate and influence in support of branch and company goals.Stay current on industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and process improvement methods; champion practical innovation that strengthens competitiveness.How You’ll LeadYou balance strategic foresight with on-the-floor presence.
