Labor, Employment & Higher Education Associate (5-7 years) - Minneapolis, MN

Lathrop GPM is seeking an Employment Associate for our growing labor, employment and higher education practice in our Minneapolis office. Responsibilities Provide advice to business clients on employment matters and represent clients in employment litigation. Research, brief writing, preparation of pleadings, taking and defending depositions, court hearings, policy drafting, investigation of complaints, and client advising. Qualifications 5-7 years of employment law experience in both advising and litigation roles. Active Minnesota law license and in good standing. Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical and writing abilities. Excellent client service, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively. Desire to appear in court with confident oral communication skills. Salary range: $225,000 – $255,000 (actual salary may vary).
