About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to spearhead the national sales strategy for its diverse portfolio, including THC beverages, hemp CBD, and functional wellness products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the DSD sales team, managing the Key Account Manager team, and owning distributor relationships. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in the beverage industry, particularly in DSD and natural channel distribution. The VP of Sales will be tasked with driving the national go-to-market strategy, coordinating field and trade marketing, and creating accountability through data. Experience in building and leading multi-state sales organizations, as well as a strong understanding of route-to-market strategy and regulatory compliance, is essential. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive sales leadership experience within the beverage sector, with a focus on DSD and natural channel distribution. The role requires a candidate with a dual-channel background, including experience with regional beer wholesalers and natural/specialty distributors. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to secure and grow national retail partnerships and to navigate the complexities of state-by-state regulatory requirements. Strong leadership skills are a must, as the VP of Sales will be overseeing a national commercial organization and will be expected to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role also demands a strategic thinker who can partner cross-functionally and shape the long-term commercial vision of the company.
