The CEO will be the strategic leader, chief steward of safety and quality, and primary ambassador, responsible for advancing the mission of providing safe, reliable, and life-saving care to critically ill and injured patients. This role demands a seasoned executive with a background in healthcare, aviation, emergency services, or a similarly regulated, high-reliability environment. The successful candidate will be accountable for the organization's safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and must have a proven track record of leading complex organizations with multiple stakeholders. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, safety and high-reliability operations, financial stewardship, and fostering a culture of mission commitment and collaboration. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have progressive senior executive experience, strong strategic and financial acumen, and the ability to lead organizational change within a mission-driven institution.
