The CEO will be the strategic leader, responsible for guiding the organization, ensuring the effective execution of Board priorities, and providing transparent and inspirational leadership. This role requires a leader who can champion a people-centered culture, model core values, and position the organization as a thought leader and partner in the energy and climate ecosystem. The successful candidate will be a steward of the company's mission, a catalyst for organizational evolution, and will work to sustain and amplify the long-term impact of the organization. Candidates for the CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy and climate landscape, a proven track record in leading and scaling performance-based organizations, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role demands exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to inspire and develop diverse teams. Experience in fundraising, particularly with foundations, and a background in legislative, policy, regulatory, or government affairs work are also preferred. The CEO must be resilient, courageous, and able to foster a mission-aligned, values-driven culture while leading the organization through change and uncertainty.
