Our client in Windsor, Connecticut is seeking a Collections Specialist for a one-week contract assignment . This short-term opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and prior experience in accounts receivable or collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers regarding past-due balances in a professional and timely manner
- Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Document collection activity and payment arrangements accurately
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies by working with internal teams and customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships while supporting collection goals
- Assist with additional accounts receivable and administrative tasks as needed
- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related accounting support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
