Payroll Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Minnetonka to hire a Payroll Specialist. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid schedule, a collaborative team environment, and strong opportunities for training and professional development. Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office) Compensation: $27-$35/hour Employment Type: Permanent About the Team You’ll join a well-established payroll department consisting of a Director of Payroll, two Supervisors, and a team of Payroll Specialists and Senior Payroll Specialists. The team is known for its collaborative environment, hands‑on training, and commitment to continued learning and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Process payroll for approximately 600-1,000 employees Audit payroll data and resolve payroll issues and discrepancies Maintain accurate employee payroll records Calculate and process complex commission payments Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance activities Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and regulations Qualifications 1+ years of payroll experience required; 2+ years preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment Professional written and verbal communication skills Experience with ADP, UKG, and/or Workday is a plus Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Why Consider This Opportunity?
