BridgeBio Pharma seeks a patent attorney to manage intellectual property strategy across its pharmaceutical pipeline. The role encompasses patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and IP counsel spanning discovery through commercialization and life-cycle management.
Responsibilities
- Manage patent preparation and prosecution across global markets for pharmaceutical assets
- Lead freedom-to-operate assessments for drug development, commercialization, and transactions
- Provide intellectual property counsel on exclusivity strategy and competitive positioning
- Advise R&D, business development, regulatory, and commercial teams on IP matters
- Support U.S. and international adversarial proceedings including IPRs and patent litigation
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Patent prosecution experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences
- Freedom-to-operate and IP strategy expertise
- Experience with global patent portfolio management
- Ability to advise cross-functional teams on IP matters
- Experience with patent adversarial proceedings
