Accounting Manager

About the PositionReady to leave your fingerprints on how a fast-growing company runs its books? We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who does far more than keep the numbers balanced. Reporting to the Director of Accounting at our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL, you'll lead a team of accountants, own the accuracy and timeliness of our financial information, and take our general ledger and close processes to the next level.It's an exciting time to join. We're in the middle of a major finance transformation – migrating our ERP from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion and implementing Avalara for sales tax – so you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the systems and processes the team will run on for years to come. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves living in the details, is technically sharp, and gets energized – not overwhelmed – by change. You'll step into workflows, quickly learn how the work gets done today, and then roll up your sleeves to streamline, strengthen, and document them so the team has a reliable playbook to scale on. If you lead from the front, hold a high bar for accuracy, and like building things better than you found them, we'd love to meet you.Position ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the team – directly supervise, coach, and grow a team of accountants; set clear goals, manage performance, and provide ongoing training and mentorship.
