Production Supervisor

Location: Springfield, OH
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM or up to 2:00 PM)
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio . This role is responsible for supervising production and/or material handling staff and may involve both manufacturing and warehouse operations . The Production Supervisor will lead teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive department workflow to ensure quality results and on-time delivery
Supervise assigned employees, including:
- Work assignments
- Team motivation and engagement
- Hiring, training, cross-training, performance reviews, and terminations
Lead process improvement and change initiatives
Maintain accurate Pulse and Hour-to-Hour boards , ensuring follow-up on misses and resolution of issues
Communicate effectively with employees, peers, managers, and support groups
Promote and enforce workplace safety , including training, investigations, corrective actions, and safe work practices
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as:
- 5S
- Kaizen events
- Lean projects focused on waste elimination
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies

Demonstrated ability to lead people and deliver results
Hands-on leadership style
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of ISO quality standards , OSHA regulations , and Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience with SAP is a plus

Education & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
