Kitchen Team Member Role The Kitchen Team member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. Its an opportunity to work in a fast paced food service environment. Team members have the opportunity to learn a variety of roles in the kitchen. Every day will be a little different as we have 9 different positions that we train team members on. Team members will also have the opportunity to learn about food safety and quality standards. We prefer to promote leaders from within and will work with you if you would like to become a leader or trainer at our restaurant. There are also opportunities for cross training on inventory and prep available. Kitchen Member Responsibilities Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently Maintain and stock kitchen stations Keep the kitchen clean and orderly Stay updated on new products Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code Qualifications and Requirements Loves serving and helping others Strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Works well independently and in a team environment Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 5-50 lbs on a regular basis Have the ability to stand for long periods of time Work Schedule 8 hour shift 10 hour shift Weekend availability Monday to Friday Holidays Day shift Night shift Benefits Flexible schedule 401(k) matching 401(k) Employee discount Paid training Other
