About the Position

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital ICU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required. Description: This position is for a Travel RN specializing in the ICU. The unit has a total of 26 beds. There are 15 staff members including 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Technician during the day shift. The night shift also consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Technician. Patient ratios are 1:2. The unit is equipped with balloon pumps, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), hypothermia equipment, and capabilities for cardioversion and central lines. Candidates with prior Meditech experience and travel experience in large facility ICUs will be preferred. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and efficient with a positive attitude and engagement.
