Role Description
The Property Operations Technician supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety, and appearance of multiple commercial properties. This position requires hands-on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience. The technician serves as the eyes and ears of LP Commercial on-site, spotting issues before they become bigger problems and following every task through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs, with a focus on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Handle general repairs
Respond to tenant requests and complete work orders, documenting work performed and materials used
Manage tool and supply inventory
Coordinate with vendors and inspect their completed work
Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and special projects
Be available for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
Required: Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in a commercial or facilities setting
Required: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties
Experience in commercial building, facilities, or property maintenance
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance and general building repairs
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent needs
High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications a plus)
Ability to lift moderate weight, climb ladders, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
