Access Support Network (ASN) is a community-based nonprofit organization in San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and Santa Barbara Counties that provides supportive services to residents living with HIV/AIDS, Hep C, and their loved ones. The agency strives to improve its clients' quality of life and independence by providing support individually and meeting the unmet needs of community members. ASN seeks a proven visionary leader with a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience and, importantly, a deep and abiding passion for the mission and communities served by ASN to serve as its next Executive Director.To learn more about ASN, please click here.

The Executive Director of ASN partners with the Board of Directors to execute on the organization's mission, set its annual goals and budget, provide programmatic oversight, and fundraise. The Executive Director oversees the policies adopted by the Board in accordance with all regulatory and granting bodies. The incoming leader will inspire and guide the team, think strategically about how to advance both mission and sustainability, promote innovation and best practices, and serve as a leader for affordable accessible health care.Experience in behavioral health, primary health care, HIV/AIDS education, prevention, advocacy, social services, or other relevant executive experience is preferable. The ideal candidate will exhibit an understanding of the Central Coast of California and will provide thought leadership as to how ASN can capitalize on ongoing changes for the benefit of both the organization's financial success and the health care needs of the community they serve. A bachelor's or master's degree in public health, business, planning, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of five years in leadership positions with nonprofit or health organizations is required. Proven leadership, effective written and oral communication, strategic planning, relationship building, and financial acumen are skills needed to fulfill the duties of this position.The compensation range for this position annually is $150,000-$200,000.
