We build long-lasting relationships.Texas Capital provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, fertility and family building aids, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans with a generous 401K match, paid leave programs, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).Headquartered in Dallas with offices in Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, Richardson, Plano and San Antonio, Texas Capital was recently named Best Regional Bank in 2024 by Bankrate and was named to The Dallas Morning News' Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex Top Workplaces 2023 and GoBankingRate's 2023 list of Best Regional Banks.ResponsibilitiesEffectively deliver the Firm's philosophy and solution on an ongoing relationship management basis with other team membersExpectation of participation with the Investment CommitteeConduct investment reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment productsDevelop investment policy statements, advise on asset allocation and manage client's investment portfolioMaintain current knowledge of all Private Bank products and strategiesResponsible for engaging in business development (to include prospecting, development of external and internal referral sources, use of personal and professional contacts) to deliver resultsInitiate and close sales of complex investment productsBuild and maintain excellent working relationships with internal partners and teammatesAdhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conductQualificationsMinimum 10 years relevant banking experience required with at least seven years in private banking preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent/relevant program; MBA, CFA or CFP preferredSeries 7 and Series 63 requiredExtensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of fixed income, structured notes, equities and alternativesExtensive experience managing discretionary and brokerage relationshipsAdvanced ability to develop, cultivate and maintain ultra-high net-worth client relationships with increased complexityConduct operations within FINRA and other regulatory agency guidelines and requirementsAdvanced ability to communicate sophisticated investment strategies to all levels of clients and prospectsAdvanced sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referralsThe duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
