Credit Analyst

Adecco has a great opportunity for a Credit Analyst position located in San Antonio, Texas. It is a Direct hire position with pay starting at $20 to $24 per hour based on experience. Working Monday to Friday 8 am to 5pm. This is an in-office position and not a remote position.


Job Summary:


The Credit Representative will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers and ensure that the company receives timely payment for services offered to their customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:


• Review accounts to determine collection efforts.


• Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contact delinquent accountholders to request payment.


• Submit invoices to customers and make invoice adjustments according to company practices.


• Work closely with terminal managers to ensure proper billing and documentation.


• Review payment portals for payment status and identify potential problems.


• Keep accurate records of collection activity.


• Research customer discrepancies and past-due balances.


• Deposit and photocopy checks received.


• Review and processes Credit Applications to evaluate credit worthiness.


• Create customer accounts, maintain, and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing/e-mailing attentions.


• Create reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.


• Identifies and escalates appropriate issues to management as needed.


• All other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:


• Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.


• Possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to professionally assist customers, resolve concerns, and maintain positive relationships.


• Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload.


• Must be detailed oriented - with strong attention to accuracy and problem-solving.


• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.


• Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a team.


Education and Experience:


• Must have high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.


• Experience in NetSuite, and/or GTG a plus.


• Prior experience working in the transportation and/or logistics industry a plus.

Physical Requirements:


• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer performing required duties of the position.


• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. without assistance as part of the regular duties of the position.


• Must be able to periodically walk upstairs, stand, bend, and stoop while reaching for accounting files.


• Demonstrate ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy work environment.
