Job Summary


The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), restore functional independence, and enhance overall quality of life. This role involves providing therapy services in accordance with physician orders, regulatory standards, and facility policies within an inpatient setting serving primarily geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities


• Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapy to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, and cognitive skills

• Train patients in self-care and use of adaptive equipment

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and reports

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards

• Educate patients and families on therapy plans

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in California

• Open to new graduates; experience in inpatient, SNF, or rehab settings preferred

• Experience working with geriatric populations is highly preferred

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
