Pharmacist Inpatient

We are sourcing for a dedicated outpatient infusion pharmacist. The position requires oversight of the medication use process within an outpatient infusion center. It includes order verification of non-hazardous and hazardous outpatient infusion medications, including oncology. The role involves IV infusion compounding product evaluation and verification. Evaluation of oncology and non-oncology treatment plans is essential. Verification of insurance coverage prior to initiating any treatment plan is required. The pharmacist will provide infusion medication patient education. Participation in infusion adverse reaction management is expected. Candidates must have experience in oncology patient care. The pharmacist will float between different units as necessary. No on-call or weekends are required for this position. Expected patient ratios are 1 pharmacist to 20 patients. Candidates must be flexible with block scheduling.
