Job Summary:

Assist in the perioperative surgical environment by providing advanced sterile technical support. Ensure the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures through skilled instrument handling and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assisting staff during operations.
  
  
• 
  Maintain strict sterile technique standards throughout surgical cases.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and manage surgical instruments and materials before, during, and after procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist in sterilization and inventory management of surgical tools and supplies.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety and infection control policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current hospital Surgical Technologist certification or credential.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 6 months recent experience in a surgical setting.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification and active DORA and NBSTA credentials.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR and robotic-assisted procedures.
  
  
• 
  Skilled in preparing and handling specialized surgical instruments and equipment.
