Systems Designer / Purchasing & Inventory Manager - AV Integration

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to step into a key hybrid position at our established premium AV/smart home integration company. You will own D-Tools system design, purchasing, inventory strategy, and database management to keep our projects efficient and on-budget.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Create accurate system designs and detailed proposals in D-Tools Cloud based on sales scopes

•  Manage and maintain the full D-Tools database (products, pricing, templates, and inventory tracking)

•  Handle all purchasing: source equipment, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery

•  Oversee inventory accuracy and strategy — collaborate with our full-time warehouse technician to maximize use of in-stock items and keep projects within our core product wheelhouse

•  Work closely with sales, project managers, and technicians to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary purchases

What You Bring:

•  Strong experience with D-Tools (Cloud preferred) or similar AV design/quoting software

•  Purchasing and inventory management experience (AV, low-voltage, electrical, or technical products preferred)

•  Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

•  AV industry knowledge (Savant, Lutron, Axis, Networks, etc.) is a big plus — we also welcome quick learners

•  Ability to wear multiple hats in a small, fast-paced team environment
