This role will assist the truck drivers with logistics. Ideal candidate will be able to drive the box truck when truck driver is away. Also an assistant must have a clean MVR for last 3 years, valid driver's license, ability to lift over 50 pounds, and ability to drive a box truck as needed.**Job Description:*** Loading/ Unloading product from trucks* Using hand trucks to move inventory* Inventory Supplies* May need to drive a Box/ Dump Truck as needed* Keeping up a tidy work area including delivery truck* Ensure secure load before movement* Clean and wash the trucks as necessary* Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor* Comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations, all company policies, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations* Laundry, Waste Management, Facility Maintenance* Grounds Keeping* Attention to Detail**Qualifications:*** Must have experience loading/unloading trucks* High school diploma or GED* Valid driver's license with clean 3-year MVR* **Must have the ability to obtain a DOT medical card*** Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State, and Federal laws**Physical Requirements:*** Work in the outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis* Lift up to 75 lbs* Must be able to lift up to 20lbs on a regular basis* Workaround raw, live animal odors* Work in noisy environment (>85 decibels) and moving equipment* Work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts**Benefits****:**Aviagen provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the healthcare and financial well-being of our employees.
