Shop Parts Coordinator

We provide complete project planning, design, and construction services for data centers, corporate headquarters, warehouses, hospitals, cogeneration plants, retail malls, hotels, and commercial or residential, multi-residential, and high-rise facilities. Job Summary F&G Mechanical seeks a Shop Parts Coordinator. Reports directly to the Facility/Shop Manager; assist with the maintenance of the warehouse and supporting the Fire Protection Department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the loading and unloading of truck deliveries. Pull material orders as requested by the field. Restock bins and racks with returned materials from job sites. Maintain and clean all common areas in and around the facility. Distribute all UPS and FedEx deliveries as received to all departments. Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facility/Shop Manager. Operate a forklift. Makes small deliveries in pickup truck. Valid Driver’s License in good standing. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parts department, preferably in a trade-related industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of Fire Protection pipe, valves, and fitting, equipment, tools, etc. a plus. Ability to lift and carry boxes, materials, etc. approximately 40 pounds or more in weight. Must be able to walk on uneven, slippery surfaces, and climb ladders and stairs as required.
