Project Manager

Company: Mighty Roots Location: Portsmouth NH Responsibilities Oversee an entire construction project from start to finish Collaborate with design team during estimating phase Control the time, cost and quality of the residential construction project Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors Review and order windows, doors, door hardware Order selected plumbing package Order selected electrical fixtures Order tile and wood flooring Schedule shower glass template and installation Schedule cabinetry finishing Determine scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors and other workers Meet with the client regularly to review progress and budgetary constraints Secure building permits and licenses and delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites Confer with supervisors or other managers to monitor construction progress, worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays Qualifications & Strengths Proven experience as a lead carpenter In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Aptitude in math and problem‑solving abilities Several years of field work experience in the construction industry or in a discipline related to construction management or building science #J-18808-Ljbffr
