Environmental Project Manager, Eurofins Environment Testing- Portsmouth New Hampshire

Job Description Live within one hour of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. 5 years of Environmental Project Management Experience are preferred. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, first shift position in Portsmouth, NH. Compensation range (DOE) $50k-$55k. Eurofins Environment Testing - Eastern Analytical is seeking a Project Manager in Portsmouth, NH. Candidates should live within a commutable distance to the lab. The Project Manager I (PM I) coordinates and manages clients’ projects through all phases of laboratory operations, including project set-up, login review, communication of analytical issues, client account maintenance, reporting, invoicing, bottle orders, client pickups, and identification of work share facilities. The PM I role develops client relationships in support of the laboratory mission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Set-up Project review in LIMS Set up project Add project notes (special reporting and invoicing instructions, etc.) Review project documentation Add project documentation to central repository Set up client for Total Access Manage purchase orders, task orders, contracts, and change order requests Verify lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements for new projects not quoted Add project-specific limits/lists to LIMS Deliverable assignment and delivery route For new projects not quoted, confirm that EDD format is available; submit helpdesk tickets for new formats needed Communicate project details to operations Initiate project kick-off call with client and pertinent staff, if needed Engage work share labs, service centers, and non-Eurofins locations as needed for new projects not quoted Work with operations to ensure adequate capacity for incoming work (forecasting) Provide updates to operations on upcoming work Familiarity with state and national program requirements as it pertains to work mix Create bottle orders Schedule courier and field sampler, if needed Confirm non-Eurofins subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for new work Confirm non-Eurofins subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing work Initiate approval process for subcontract labs not on the approved list Generate subcontract paperwork Generate accounting software requisition when sending subcontract samples Verify lab certification meets project requirements Verify that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements for new quotes For new quotes, confirm that EDD format is available; if new format is needed, submit a helpdesk ticket Engage work share labs, service centers, and non-TA locations as needed for new quotes Provide supporting documentation to client as needed (Contract list, bottle table with preservation, etc.) Sample Receipt Communicate any issues to clients for duration of project Manage incoming work for rush and short holds Review login Resolve login issues with client Inform client of any login discrepancies Set samples to “available” after review Send client sample receipt confirmation Review draft invoice Record client needed information (Purchase order, project number, etc.) in LIMS for invoicing Reporting Manage client-specific report requirements Review job list daily and manage due dates Communicate expected delays to clients before the due date Confirm data anomalies with operations before submitting to client Review reports before issuing to client Ensure correct report format and EDD format are used Create and issue final report by client due date Issue final data packages, state reporting forms, and submission DMR forms, EDD checkers, and data upload Compile case narratives Invoicing Set up delivery route Review final invoice before issuing to client Generate credit/debit memos as needed and submit for approval Submit approved credit/debit memos to client or revised invoices as needed Initiate follow-up calls to confirm correct invoicing Work with collections on A/R follow-up Regular review of A/R status Client Set-up Work with CSM to communicate lab capabilities to the client Request new client review; confirm sales assignments with the Business Development Manager Take new quote requests from clients Review client contract requirements and coordinate review Review purchase orders and submit for approval; return approved orders to client Follow up on client terms and credit limit Account Maintenance Follow up calls and visits with clients; provide technical support as needed Use company resources to follow up on client requests Familiarity with company capabilities and key contacts Forward opportunities and leads to sales Forecast upcoming work and pursue next opportunities Monitor areas of responsibility (air, regulations, etc.) Submit client complaints and participate in corrective action Communicate client issues to sales and follow up on requests Support follow-up of quotes/bids for tracking Quotes & Proposals Initiate QAPP review with operations, QA, and subcontract labs Seek technical support from operations as needed Generate and obtain approvals for quotes Review client quote requests for capabilities, certifications, scope Confirm client contracts and pricing Determine lab placement and ensure lab certification meets requirements Confirm lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements Create and submit quotes for approval and to client Forecast quotes and provide QAPP/SOW information as needed Update status in LIMS and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field (four years of related experience may substitute for a degree) 6-12 months of client relationship or customer service experience Prefer some bench chemist or field experience Additional lab training in methods and QA across multiple departments Working knowledge of environmental regulations Basic knowledge of the LIMS Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills Effective time management and strong organizational skills Leadership, multi-tasking, adaptability and flexibility Ability to ensure on-time delivery Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Customer-focused mindset: understands customer needs, communicates status, and follows up with clients Technical familiarity: seeks information to respond to technical questions and communicate status Customer service orientation: resolves client issues and provides prompt, accurate information Professional, courteous demeanor with internal and external customers Lives a commutable distance to Portsmouth, NH All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
