The Lead Cashier at our detailing shop plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing cash transactions, supervising a team of over six employees, and delivering excellent customer service. This position involves overseeing fixed shift patterns, utilizing specific POS software, and regularly participating in inventory management to support sales and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly
- Supervise and coordinate a team of more than six employees
- Manage fixed shift schedules and employee workflow
- Operate specific Point of Sale (POS) software effectively
- Promote sales and support upselling initiatives
- Regularly monitor and assist with inventory management
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail or cashier roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash management
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills
- Conflict resolution and effective communication abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
