Maintenance EngineerThe Maintenance Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains the physical plant as well as other hospital equipment/systems in a safe cost effective and industry accepted manner. Also, this position ensures a safe and reliable environment in which to provide medical services.Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE; Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10:00pm; On-call Mon-Fri 10pm-6am every 4th weekRequired Qualifications:High school degree or equivalentQUALIFYING LICENSURE UPON HIRE, NO CONTINGENCIESMust have any ONE of the following at HIRE:Chief AChief B1st Class A1st Class B2nd Class A2nd Class BIF ABOVE LICENSURE(S) NOT PRESENT AT HIREChief C upon hire1st Class C upon hire2nd Class C upon hireSpecial Engineers licenseMust obtain completion within 18 months of hire date:2nd Class B licenseMust have a valid driver's license in the state of employee residence and meet all criteria required under Lakeview's Automobile Liability GuidelinesBasic computer and email skillsGood customer service, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude skills, and able to change or reprioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet our patients/building needsPreferred Qualifications:Technical school training in plant operations/building maintenance and/or HVAC1-year experience in the operation of H.V.A.C., refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, preferably in a health care setting
