Role Description The Private Credit Fund - Middle Office, ABL Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role supports the middle office operations of private credit and asset-based lending (ABL) portfolios, ensuring accurate trade capture, position reconciliation, and settlement activities. The analyst will coordinate closely with front office, operations, and finance teams to monitor collateral, track borrowing bases, and manage cash flows and liquidity for ABL facilities. Key responsibilities include reviewing and validating deal documentation, maintaining high-quality data in Pepper’s platform, and resolving discrepancies with counterparties and service providers. The role also involves generating reports, supporting valuation and risk assessments, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and control across the middle office function.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of Finance, with exposure to private credit, asset-based lending, or related credit products.
• Experience with Trading and trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture and position management.
• Background in Middle Office Operations, including reconciliations, collateral monitoring, and control frameworks.
• Knowledge of Settlement processes, including coordination with custodians, agents, and counterparties.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; experience with data platforms or fintech solutions is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across front, middle, and back office teams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of accuracy and integrity.
• Prior experience in asset management, investment banking, or credit-focused roles within the New York City financial ecosystem is advantageous.
