Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,891 per week

Travel Nurse (ICU) – Sanford, North Carolina. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Intensive Care Unit RN to join a 13‑week travel assignment in Sanford, NC. This position requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and certification in ACLS and BLS. The role involves evaluating, monitoring, and providing direct patient care in a high‑acuity environment. Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer, and document medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Take samples for lab work, interpret lab reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patients’ conditions to family members. Educate and support patient families. Work 12‑hour nights, total 36 hours per week. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with active license. 1–2 years recent ICU or acute care experience. ACLS and BLS certification. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, lean for long periods. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred but not required Additional certifications prior to assignment may be required.
