Direct Hire- Sr Footwear Designer- Onsite- New York

We’re looking for a creative, market-driven Senior Designer with strong experience in athletic and lifestyle footwear. This person will bring fresh ideas to the team while balancing design vision, technical product development, and fast-paced seasonal deadlines. You’ll design across a range of categories (Mens, Womens & Kids) including sandals, casual sneakers , snow boots, and casual boots. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for trends, excellent sketching and visualization skills, and the ability to turn concepts into compelling 2D and 3D footwear designs. What You’ll Be Doing: Create innovative footwear concepts and lifestyle designs for the current market. Develop high-quality 2D and 3D design concepts within established timelines. Apply strong technical knowledge across aesthetics, materials, development, manufacturing, quality, and construction. Research the U.S. footwear market to identify key silhouettes, consumer trends, and emerging opportunities. Manage multiple design projects while meeting seasonal milestones and deadlines. Create fast, polished concepts and renderings using Adobe Illustrator. Partner closely with cross-functional teams while also working independently when needed. Travel approximately 10–15% domestically, with occasional international travel possible. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in athletic and/or lifestyle footwear design. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong sketching, visualization, and concept-development skills. Deep understanding of consumer trends, footwear styling, and market direction. Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
