Mechanic - Auto, Diesel, Forklift Technician

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks Maintain a service van and its inventory Process paperwork after completion of each job Requirements Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various testing equipment preferred Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire Core Competencies Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks, including knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
