Job Description

SURESTAFF is hiring Packaging Assistants for a candy company in DeKalb, IL. As a Packaging Assistant for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced assembly environment involved in packaging candy boxes.
No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately!Looking for flexibility? This could be the perfect fit!
This position is ideal for students, part-timers, or anyone looking for a flexible weekday schedule. The facility operates Monday through Friday and schedules shift needs daily - some days they need more people, some days less.
- You can work up to 4 days a week
- Text notifications let you know when you're scheduled
- Great for anyone who doesn't need guaranteed hours and likes to stay busy
Pay Rates:$15.75 - $16/hour depending on the shift
Shift Hours:Monday - Friday: 4am - 2:30pm, 2pm - 12:30amMonday-Friday up to 4 days a week, and assignments vary day by day.

Responsibilities of the Packaging Assistant:

• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications of the Packaging Assistant:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Steel-toe shoes are required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
