Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PACU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the PreOp, Phase 1, and Phase 2 settings according to ASPAN guidelines.
• Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team including charge nurses and nurse aides for optimal patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations with swift and appropriate action.
• Complete charting and documentation using the EPIC system.
• Adhere to call requirements, responding within a 30-minute timeframe, and provide on-call support as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and provide appropriate cardiac care.
• Previous PACU or critical care experience is highly advantageous.
• Must meet a 30-minute response time for on-call duties, ready to work.
